Kitchen Technician – Job DescriptionPosition: Kitchen Technician
Department: Engineering / Maintenance
Job Purpose:
To maintain, troubleshoot, and repair kitchen equipment, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related issues.
- Conduct daily inspections of kitchen equipment and utilities.
- Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Maintain maintenance records and report recurring issues.
- Coordinate with vendors for major repairs when required.
Qualification: ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, or related field.
Experience: 2+ years in hotels, catering units, industrial kitchens, or hospitality industry.
Skills: Equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, safety awareness, and problem-solving.
