Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance on elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults.
- Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns promptly.
- Inspect lift systems to identify wear, damage, or potential failures.
- Replace defective components, including motors, controllers, switches, cables, and door mechanisms.
- Conduct safety inspections and functional testing after repairs.
- Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and inspection records.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.
- Coordinate with customers to explain maintenance work and recommend repairs or upgrades.
- Assist in modernization and refurbishment projects when required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
- Support installation and commissioning activities as needed.
- Participate in on-call or emergency service rotations when required.
