Job Description

Store Operations

  • Manage the overall day-to-day functioning of the store.
  • Ensure smooth opening and closing of the store.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, visual merchandising, and store presentation.
  • Ensure all store policies and operational procedures are followed consistently.

Billing & Cash Management

  • Supervise the billing counter and ensure error-free billing.
  • Handle daily cash reconciliation and POS transactions.
  • Monitor cash flow, petty cash, and banking procedures.
  • Ensure complete accuracy in financial transactions and documentation.
  • Coordinate closely with the Accounts Department regarding payments, invoices, credit notes, and daily sales reports.

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Monitor inventory levels and identify products that require replenishment.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing team for timely stock ordering.
  • Receive new merchandise and ensure proper tagging, pricing, barcoding, and display.
  • Conduct periodic stock audits and minimize inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and prevent stock loss or pilferage.

Sales Team Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise the sales team to achieve daily and monthly targets.
  • Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews.
  • Train staff on product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques.
  • Create a positive, accountable, and performance-driven work environment.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure every customer receives warm, personalized, and professional service.
  • Handle customer concerns and escalations efficiently.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business.

Staff Management

  • Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and discipline.
  • Ensure professional body language, communication, and etiquette at all times.
  • Foster teamwork, mutual respect, and collaboration among employees.
  • Conduct onboarding and continuous training for new team members.

Compliance & Administration

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and operational guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers whenever required.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

  • 5–8+ years of experience in fashion retail, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience managing billing operations, cash handling, and store accounts.
  • Knowledge of retail inventory management systems.
  • Comfortable using POS software, Excel, and basic accounting tools.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical and administrative abilities.

  • Billing accuracy and zero cash discrepancies.
  • Inventory accuracy and stock availability.
  • Customer satisfaction and repeat customer growth.
