Modular Cutting List Maker

Reporting To:Production Manager / Factory Head

Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Cutting List Maker & BOM Optimization Executive to prepare accurate cutting lists, BOMs, nesting layouts, and material optimization plans for modular kitchen, wardrobe, and furniture projects. The candidate should coordinate with design, production, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth production planning and minimum material wastage.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cutting lists from approved designs and drawings.
• Generate BOM (Bill of Material) for each project.
• Optimize plywood, MDF, laminate, aluminum, and hardware utilization to minimize wastage.
• Prepare sheet nesting and cutting layouts using optimization software.
• Coordinate with design team for drawing corrections and production feasibility.
• Prepare edge band, laminate, hardware, and accessory quantity calculations.
• Maintain production planning and daily cutting schedules.
• Track material consumption vs estimated BOM.
• Support procurement team with accurate RM requirements.
• Maintain project-wise costing and wastage reports.
• Generate labels, part IDs, and production documentation.
• Coordinate with CNC machine operators and carpentry teams.
• Ensure production drawings are updated and controlled properly.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of modular kitchen and wardrobe production.
• Experience in cutting optimization and nesting software.
• Good understanding of plywood, MDF, HDHMR, laminates, and hardware.
• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and production drawings.
• Knowledge of BOM preparation and costing.
• Strong Excel knowledge.
• Good coordination and communication skills.

• QualificationDiploma / BE / BTech / ITI / Interior Production background
• Preferred experience in modular kitchen or furniture manufacturing industry.
