Job SummaryThe Pharmacist is responsible for reviewing prescriptions, ensuring the accurate dispensing of medicines, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

The role involves verifying customer prescriptions, supervising pharmacy operations, and ensuring safe handling and distribution of pharmaceutical products in a B2C environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prescription VerificationReview and validate customer prescriptions for accuracy and authenticity.Ensure medicines are dispensed as per doctor’s prescription.Check dosage, drug interactions, and patient safety before approval.

2. Medicine DispensingOversee the correct picking and dispensing of medicines.Ensure the right medicine, batch number, and quantity are processed.Follow FIFO/FEFO guidelines for stock dispensing.

3. Compliance & RegulatoryEnsure compliance with pharmacy regulations and company SOPs.Maintain records of prescriptions and pharmacy documentation.Ensure controlled medicines are handled according to legal guidelines.

4. Inventory & Quality ControlMonitor medicine stock levels, expiry dates, and storage conditions.Ensure proper storage of medicines as per pharmaceutical standards.Report damaged, expired, or recalled products to management.

5. Team CoordinationGuide and supervise warehouse staff (pickers, packers, and rackers).Ensure smooth order processing and timely dispatch of orders

6. Customer SafetyProvide basic medication guidance when required.
