Pharmacy Supervisor

Responsibilities:

-To manage the day-to-day operations of the hospital pharmacy and ensure the safe, ensuring efficient service delivery.

– Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in medication management.

– Monitor medication inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for stock management.

– Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and regulatory requirements within the pharmacy.

– Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as physicians and nurses, to ensure that patients receive the appropriate medication regimen.

– Conduct training and orientation sessions for new staff members.

– Review and update pharmacy protocols and procedures as necessary.

– Ensure that all medication is dispensed in accordance with local laws and regulations.

– Participate in quality assurance programs and initiatives to enhance pharmacy services

Skills Required:

-Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and valid state license as a Pharmacist

– Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a pharmacy setting

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Leadership and team management abilities.

– Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

– Proficiency in pharmacy software and electronic health records.
