Job Summary:

The Procurement Executive handles the operational tasks for both domestic and international purchasing. This role focuses on the execution of purchase orders, coordinating with clearing agents, and maintaining the detailed documentation required for the movement of goods across borders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Execution: Process domestic and international purchase orders, ensuring accurate technical specifications and shipping instructions.
• Logistics Coordination: Liaise with freight forwarders and customs house agents (CHAs) to track shipments and expedite customs clearance.
• Import/Export Documentation: Prepare and organize essential shipping documents, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and Shipping Bills.
• Liaison: Act as the primary contact for international vendors and local authorities regarding shipment status, duties, and payment terms.
• Cost Tracking: Maintain records of landing costs, including freight charges, insurance, and customs duties, to assist in budget management.
• Database Management: Ensure all digital records of international transactions are accurately maintained for audit and compliance purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a procurement role involving import/export activities.
• Familiarity with Incoterms and basic international shipping procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in digital reporting and management tools.
