Production Supervisor Cum Quality Control Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Supervisor cum Quality Control Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for supervising production activities and ensuring quality compliance for prototype parts manufactured through advanced technologies such as 3D printing, vacuum casting, silicone molding, and rapid prototyping.

Key Responsibilities

Production Supervision

* Monitor and coordinate day-to-day production activities.

* Ensure jobs are completed as per schedule and customer requirements.

* Assist in production planning, work allocation, and process monitoring.

* Maintain production records and job tracking reports.

* Ensure efficient utilization of materials, equipment, and manpower.

* Follow and enforce safety and housekeeping standards on the shop floor.

Quality Control

* Perform quality inspection of 3D printed parts, vacuum cast components, silicone molded parts, and prototype assemblies.

* Verify dimensions and specifications using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools.

* Identify defects, dimensional deviations, and quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.

* Maintain inspection reports and quality documentation.

* Ensure products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency.

Requirements

* Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

* 0–2 years of experience in production, manufacturing, quality control, or related fields.

* Freshers with a strong interest in manufacturing and quality engineering are encouraged to apply.

* Basic understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.

* Familiarity with measuring instruments and inspection techniques is preferred.

* Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
