About the Role

We are looking for a Production Technicianfor our Flight Test Operations team working on a fixed-wing UAV platform. You will support day-to-day production activities in the workshop, working directly on aircraft manufacturing operations.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and bond composite airframe structures (wings, stabilisers, fuselage sections) per approved SOPs and engineering drawings
• Perform structural bonding operations with correct adhesive quantities, cure times, and fixturing
• Complete in-process and final QC checkpoints, recording measurements and weights accurately in our digital QC system
• Operate workshop equipment including 3D printers, laser cutter, and hand tools for trimming and finishing carbon fibre components
• Flag defects, deviations, and non-conformances promptly; support root-cause investigations
• Maintain inventory discipline — log material consumption and report low stock
• Keep workstations clean, organised (5S), and compliant with safety requirements (PPE for CF trimming, adhesive handling, laser cutting, soldering)
• Contribute to continuous improvement of build processes and SOPs
• RequirementsITI or  Diploma  in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Mechatronics, or related discipline
• Hands-on experience with fabrication, assembly
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, SOPs, and checklists
• Strong attention to detail — comfortable working to gram-level weight and millimetre-level dimensional tolerances
• Basic comfort with digital tools (entering data into web forms / spreadsheets)
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work to a weekly production schedule
• Good to HaveExperience with epoxy/structural adhesives
• Familiarity with FDM 3D printing (slicing, print quality troubleshooting)
• Exposure to UAVs, drones, or RC aircraft building
• Basic soldering skills
