Job Summary

1. The QS & Billing Engineer is responsible for quantity estimation, client billing, subcontractor billing, cost monitoring, measurement verification, BOQ management, and ensuring timely preparation and submission of running account (RA) bills and final bills.
2. The role also supports project cost control and contractual compliance. Preparing client RA bills and final bills. Prepare and verify subcontractor bills.
3. Measure work executed at site as per approved drawings. Prepare and update Bill of Quantities (BOQ). Verify quantities for client and contractor billing.
4. Coordinate with site engineers for work measurements. Maintain measurement books (MB) and billing records. Track work progress against billing milestones.
5. Prepare quantity reconciliation statements. Monitor project costs and budget utilization. Verify material reconciliation and consumption.
6.  Prepare variation claims and extra item statements. Review tender BOQs and contract documents. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors regarding billing. Prepare work order quantities and amendments.
7.  Monitor pending certifications and payment follow-ups. Support preparation of project cash flow reports. Ensure compliance with contract terms and billing procedures. Maintain billing documentation and project records. Assist in project cost estimation and forecasting.
