Job Description
The Captain is responsible for supervising the service flow within a designated section of the restaurant. You will lead a team of stewards to provide a seamless dining experience, handling complex guest requests, upselling menu items, and ensuring that the service standards are strictly followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of stewards to ensure tables are set, orders are served on time, and guests are attended to promptly.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings to inform the team about daily specials, out-of-stock items, and VIP guests.
- Monitor the "flow" of the section, stepping in to assist stewards during peak rushes.
- Oversee the billing process, ensuring accuracy in discounts and payment handling.
