Retail Store Auditor

The Audit Executive plays a key role in providing assurance to the Audit Manager and Senior Management that our Retail Outlets are operating as expected.

Responsibilities:

1. Support the audit team during the quarterly audits of our retail outlets using a detailed audit programme template. 
2. Physical verification of the stock with inventory records 
3. Compare the records to the physical inventory count to ensure that all stock movements have been accurately recorded.
4. Verification of documentation and identifying any potential fraud or mismanagement /discrepancies.
5. Communicate the results to the inventory records and any discrepancies to the reporting manager and store manager. 
6. Conduct surprise visits audits to the assigned retail stores on stock movement, shrinkage, deviations from store level SOPs. Report the observations to store managers and the audit team.
7. Assessing and reviewing internal controls surrounding the operation, security and safety of individual shops and stores.
8. Review daily sales reports and negative inventory reports to locate discrepancies in data.

Candidate Profile:

1. Bachelor's degree is required. 
2. 1-2 years of experience in an Audit Executive role especially in retail operations.
3. Understanding of risk management and risk assessment principles.
4. Willing to travel during audits (5 to 7 days in a month).
5. Flexibility in timing during the quarterly audits.
6. Excellent email writing skill and analytical skill
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Two-wheeler is mandatory.
