Robotics Technician ( Mechanical )

Strider Robotics is looking for a Robotics Technician (Mechanical) to join our team in Bengaluru.

This role is ideal for individuals with strong hands-on mechanical skills who enjoy building, assembling, servicing, and maintaining advanced robotic systems. You'll work closely with our engineering team on the assembly, testing, deployment, and field support of robotic platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly and integration of robotic systems, subassemblies, and structural components
• Assemble and service drivetrains, suspension systems, actuators, gearboxes, bearings, and transmission mechanisms
• Installation, alignment, calibration, and commissioning of robotic platforms
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical failures through inspection and root cause analysis
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable system performance
• Support prototype builds, field trials, testing, and validation activities
• Conduct on-site installation, servicing, repairs, and technical support at customer locations
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and engineering documentation
• Maintain workshop tools, spare parts inventory, and service records

Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI, Diploma or a related discipline
• Experience in mechanical assembly or robotics is preferred
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, fasteners, bearings, gear trains, actuators, and power transmission components
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Ability to read engineering drawings and mechanical assembly documentation
• Willingness to travel for installation, servicing, and field support assignments
• Fresh graduates with strong practical workshop experience and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
