Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a Sales and Service Engineer to deliver exceptional technical support and drive revenue growth for our laboratory equipment portfolio. This hybrid role blends consultative selling with hands-on service, making you the primary point of contact for customers from initial inquiry through installation, training, and ongoing maintenance.
Qualifications:
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering
Experience: 1–3 years in technical sales, field service for analytical or laboratory equipments
Technical Skills: Familiarity with common lab equipment (e.g., Liquid Nitrogen Storage Systems, Incubator Shakers, Lab Refrigerators, Environmental Chambers etc.)
Comfortable using Electronic/Electrical Tools like Multimeter, Clamp Meter, Data Loggers etc.
Soft Skills: Strong communication and presentation abilities; comfortable engaging with both scientists and executives
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT etc.)
Travel: Willingness to travel, up to 50 -60 % travel PAN India based on work requirements
Mandatory Two Wheeler with Valid driver's license for Local conveyance
Key Responsibilities
· Install, commission, calibrate, and validate laboratory equipments at customer sites
· Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs—minimizing equipment downtime
· Perform IQ/OQ/PQ of the new equipments
· Perform Calibration activity, AMC services for the existing Equipments within scheduled period
· Perform on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs.
· Train end-users on proper operation, safety protocols, and routine maintenance
· Document service activities, spare parts usage, and customer feedback in the system
· Build long-term relationships with lab managers, procurement teams, and scientific staff
· Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities for products, accessories, and service contracts
· Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories or market segments
· Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers
