We are having an ongoing opportunity for Senior Manager - Hardware Design to be based Bangalore Karnataka with a leading technology driven company specializing in renewable energy, telecom power infrastructure, and hybrid energy solutions.; details of which are as mentioned below.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. New Product Hardware design, maintaining the existing Hardware and improving it for performance, costing and production quality.

2. Design calculations, Design verification , debugging and failure analysis.

3. Knowledge of DFMEA.

4. Product bench marking with competitors.

5. Providing PCB design guidelines using software’s like CADSTAR.

6. Product Design & Detailed engineering documentation.

7. Proficiency in Embedded hardware design, Power Electronics, power circuits, AC-DC and DC-DC Converters, Analog and Digital circuit design, hardware development. Analog and digital circuit design, Microcontroller interfacing circuit design.

8. Electronic components knowledge and selection of component as per the design calculations.

9. Design experience of various power supplies like SMPS, Linear and capacitive based Power supply and its thermal design.

10. Analog and digital circuit design, Microcontroller interfacing circuit design.

11. Knowledge of serial communication Protocols like RS485 , Modbus , SNMP , B Interface protocols

12. Circuit simulation, Schematic preparation using Altium and Orcad tools, Design calculations, Design verification.

13. Good knowledge and/ or hands on experience on EMI &EMC analysis and testing.

14. Product life cycle calculation, worst case analysis.

15. Schematic entry, PCB layout, Library part entry & maintenance.

16. Performing different types of testing such as Functional testing, Regression testing, Adhoc testing, Retesting, Exploratory testing & trouble shooting

17. Product manuals, test plans, test cases, test reports and executing the same as per the client requirement.

18. Creating, troubleshooting & maintenance documents.

19. Preparing & verifying of the GA, BOM’s , Systems wiring & SLD’s

20. Good knowledge and/ or hands on experience on EMI &EMC analysis and testing

21. Innovations in product design

22. Failure mode analysis and solutions before bulk release

23. Working closely with Post sales & Supply chain for resolving the field & production product related solutions
