Job Description
We're looking for a driven and dependable Senior Sales Executive to be the backbone of our store operations. This is not just a sales role — you'll be the go-to person on the floor, taking ownership of the store's day-to-day rhythm, customer experience, and team coordination. Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Experience
- Greet and engage walk-in customers, understand their requirements, and guide them toward the right product
- Explain the product details with confidence
- Handle the full sales cycle — from first conversation to billing and handover
- Follow up with interested customers via WhatsApp or phone to convert inquiries into sales
- Maintain a daily record of footfall, inquiries, and conversions
Store Leadership (Without Formal Manager Title)
- Be the senior-most person on the floor and take responsibility for the store's overall functioning
- Coordinate with the Office Boy and any support staff to ensure tasks are completed
- Ensure the store is clean, well-stocked, and display-ready at all times
- Handle customer concerns or complaints with maturity and escalate only when necessary
- Open and close the store responsibly
Operations & Reporting
- Maintain stock records and flag low inventory to the founders
- Ensure packaging, dispatch, and handover processes are followed correctly
- Share daily/weekly sales updates with the management team
- Assist in planning and executing local events, festive offers, or in-store promotions
Growth & Initiative
- Proactively suggest improvements to the sales process, display, or customer experience
- Mentor junior staff or the office boy as the team grows
- Demonstrate readiness for a Store Manager role through consistent ownership and results
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in jewellery, gifting, home décor, or lifestyle products
- Comfortable engaging with premium or high-ticket customers
- Strong communication in Telugu and/or Kannada + basic English
- Self-starter who doesn't need to be told what to do every hour
- Someone who takes pride in the store as if it were their own
- Ambition to grow — you're not looking for just another sales job
