Job Summary
The Site Checker is responsible for inspecting elevator installation sites, ensuring site readiness, monitoring installation quality, verifying safety compliance, and coordinating with customers, contractors, and installation teams. The role ensures that elevator projects are executed according to KONE standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site inspections and verify site readiness before installation activities.
Ensure compliance with KONE safety standards and site safety regulations.
Monitor elevator installation progress and quality of workmanship.
Check dimensions, shaft conditions, machine room readiness, and electrical availability.
Identify site non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions with contractors.
Prepare site inspection reports and maintain project documentation.
Coordinate with project managers, installation engineers, and customers regarding site requirements.
Perform regular audits to ensure installation quality and adherence to project timelines.
Report safety hazards, quality issues, and project risks to management.
Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
Required Qualifications
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
1–5 years of experience in elevator installation, site supervision, or construction projects.
Knowledge of elevator systems, safety standards, and construction practices.
Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Good communication and coordination skills.
