Staff Nurse

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Nurse to support both clinical and administrative functions within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across patient care, pharmacy support, billing operations, and physician assistance — ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

• Check and record patient vitals including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration rate, and oxygen saturation as needed.
• Assist physicians during consultations, procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient care records in electronic systems.

Pharmacy & Medication Management

• Dispense prescribed medications to patients in accordance with physician orders and pharmacy protocols.
• Verify medication accuracy, dosage, and patient identity before dispensing (double-check protocol).
• Monitor medication inventory, flag low-stock items, and coordinate with the pharmacy team for replenishment.
• Ensure safe storage of medications including controlled substances and temperature-sensitive drugs.

Vaccine Administration

• Load, prepare vaccines as per the immunization schedule and physician direction.
• Maintain cold chain compliance for all vaccine storage and handling.
• Record all vaccinations accurately in patient files and EMRs.

Billing & Documentation

• Generate and process patient billing statements for consultations, procedures, medications, and diagnostics.
• Ensure all billing entries are accurate, complete, and compliant with facility and regulatory standards.
• Follow up on pending payments and assist patients with billing queries in a professional manner.

Qualifications & Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing / GNM)

• Valid nursing license / registration with the State Nursing Council
• Minimum 1–3 years of clinical experience (freshers with strong internship exposure may apply)
• Basic computer literacy; experience with HMS/EMR software is an advantage
• Knowledge of medication dispensing protocols and vaccine cold chain management
