Store Assistant

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Store & Production Planning Professional to oversee our daily inventory operations, streamline production schedules, and manage shop-floor manpower. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between inventory management and production, ensuring seamless manufacturing workflows with zero downtime due to material shortages.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Store Maintenance & Stock Keeping (Inventory Management):

• Oversee the end-to-end operations of the store, ensuring accurate receipts, storage, and issuance of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods.
• Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent stock-outs and overstocking situations.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification, reconciliation, and cycle counts.
• Maintain systematic and hygienic storage (5S implementation) of materials for easy traceability and safety.
• Ensure accurate data entry and maintain daily inventory reports using [Excel].

2. Production Planning & Control:

• Collaborate with the sales and manufacturing teams to develop efficient daily/weekly production schedules based on raw material availability and delivery deadlines.
• Monitor production processes to ensure workflow stays on track and meets target output..
• Coordinate with procurement/purchase teams to ensure timely ordering and replenishment of raw materials.

3. Manpower Handling & Team Leadership:

• Supervise, train, and allocate daily tasks to storekeepers, floor workers, and production staff.
• Monitor worker productivity, attendance, and adherence to safety protocols (PPE compliance).
• Resolve shop-floor conflicts, address grievances, and maintain a positive, disciplined work environment.
• Organize shift schedules and manage overtime to optimize labor costs and meet production targets.
