Store Manager – The Organic World

Role SummaryThe Store Manager is responsible for end-to-end store operations, sales performance, customer experience, inventory management, and team leadership at The Organic World. The role focuses on driving sustainable sales growth while maintaining the brand’s commitment to organic sourcing, quality, and customer trust.
- Key ResponsibilitiesStore Operations & SalesManage daily store operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant functioning
- Achieve and exceed sales, conversion, and average bill value targets
- Ensure optimal store layout, visual merchandising, and hygiene standards
- Implement promotions, offers, and brand campaigns effectively
- Team Leadership & People ManagementRecruit, train, schedule, and supervise store staff
- Drive high levels of employee engagement, productivity, and accountability
- Conduct regular performance reviews and on-the-job coaching
- Ensure adherence to company policies and code of conduct
- Customer ExperienceDeliver excellent customer service aligned with The Organic World’s brand values
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Educate customers on organic products, benefits, and sourcing when required
- Build strong local customer relationships to encourage repeat business
- Inventory & Supply Chain ManagementMonitor stock levels, expiry dates, and shrinkage
- Coordinate with warehouse and suppliers for timely replenishment
- Ensure FIFO practices and accurate stock records
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations
- Compliance & QualityEnsure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and retail regulations
- Maintain high quality standards for organic and perishable products
- Monitor losses due to damage, expiry, or pilferage
- Reporting & AdministrationPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operations reports
- Analyze store performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Manage store expenses and work within budget guidelines
