Store Manager

Job SummaryThe Stores Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory, stock control, and store operations across outlets of Ammas Pastries. This role ensures the availability of raw materials and finished goods, maintains stock accuracy, minimizes wastage, and supports smooth daily operations.

• Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Stock ManagementMaintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock
• Monitor stock levels of raw materials (flour, sugar, dairy, etc.) and finished bakery items
• Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts
• Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) is followed to reduce spoilage
• Procurement & Vendor CoordinationCoordinate with procurement team for timely replenishment
• Track supplier deliveries and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain relationships with vendors and ensure quality standards
• Store OperationsSupervise daily store activities and staff handling inventory
• Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, hygiene, safety)
• Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Documentation & ReportingMaintain inventory reports, GRNs (Goods Received Notes), and issue records
• Generate daily/weekly stock reports for management
• Track wastage, damages, and variances
• Compliance & Quality ControlEnsure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Monitor expiry dates and quality of ingredients/products
• Support audits and inspections
• Team ManagementTrain and supervise store assistants/helpers
• Assign duties and monitor performance
• Ensure discipline and adherence to company policies
