Job Description
The Debt Collection Executive is responsible for recovering outstanding payments from customers while maintaining professional and respectful communication. The role involves negotiating payment arrangements, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact customers via phone, email, or other approved communication channels regarding overdue payments.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts and negotiate suitable repayment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and payment commitments.
- Resolve customer queries related to outstanding balances and billing issues.
- Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and prioritize collection efforts.
- Ensure all collection activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare collection reports and update management on recovery progress.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve account discrepancies.
- Meet monthly collection and recovery targets.
