Job Description
Job Summary:
Operate and set up VMC machines to produce high-precision tooling components as per engineering drawings, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up VMC machines, including loading tools, fixtures, and workpieces
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and process sheets
- Perform tool offsets, zero setting, and basic program edits
- Monitor machining processes and ensure dimensional accuracy
Skills & Requirements:
- Knowledge of CNC machining and milling operations
- Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T basics
- Familiarity with cutting tools and materials used in tool & die making
- Basic understanding of CNC programming (G-code) is an advantage
- Experience with precision measurement tools
Qualification & Experience:
- 10+2 / ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Tool & Die Making
- 0-1 years of experience in a toolroom or precision machining environment
