Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Supervise warehouse associates, coordinate daily workflow, and ensure adherence to SOPs.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety regulations, PPE compliance, and maintain a clean 5S work environment.
- Inventory Control: Ensure accurate stock movements and support regular inventory audits and counts.
- Team Management: Train, coach, and motivate warehouse staff, conducting shift briefings and performance feedback.
- Problem Resolution: Address issues with inventory damages, shortages, and system errors.
- Reporting: Prepare basic daily, weekly, or monthly operational reports for the warehouse manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Generally 2–3 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to supervise teams and manage performance.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
- Equipment Proficiency: Experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) like forklifts is often required.
- Skills: Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. [1, 2, 3, 4]
