Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION — FITTER CUM WELDER
Location: Bangalore, India
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Fabricate, fit, and assemble pipe systems and mechanical components
Perform MIG, TIG, Arc, and spot welding on mild steel and stainless steel
Install gas distribution piping following safety standards
Read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and job cards
Perform pressure testing, leak testing, and quality inspection
Fit and align machine parts, frames, and sub-assemblies
Perform grinding, cutting, and finishing of welded joints
Install hydraulic cylinders, power packs, and pneumatic equipment
Coordinate with engineers and supervisors during installation
Follow ISO 9001:2015 quality and safety standards
Maintain tools, equipment, and work area clean and safe
