Position Summary
Job Title: Delivery Manager
Location: Bengaluru
Experience: 14–18 Years
Role Overview
The Delivery Manager is responsible for end-to-end delivery of programs, projects, and managed services, ensuring successful execution aligned with customer expectations, contractual commitments, quality standards, and business objectives. The role involves managing delivery teams, stakeholder engagement, financial performance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Program Management
- Own end-to-end delivery across projects/programs.
- Ensure delivery within agreed scope, schedule, quality, and budget.
- Drive governance, project reviews, status reporting, and executive communications.
- Establish delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation strategies.
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and customer success metrics.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary delivery contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Manage escalations effectively and drive timely resolution.
- Conduct executive governance reviews and present delivery performance to leadership.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, testing, and support functions.
- Drive employee engagement, capability development, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Own delivery P&L, revenue, margin, and cost optimization targets.
- Track project financials, forecasts, utilization, and resource efficiency.
- Support contract management, change requests, and commercial discussions.
Risk & Compliance Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks and issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with organizational processes, security policies, and customer requirements.
- Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Resource & Capacity Management
- Plan workforce needs and ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Collaborate with talent acquisition and practice teams for staffing requirements.
- Manage onboarding, transition, and knowledge transfer activities.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in project/program delivery management.
- Expertise in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models.
- Excellent stakeholder and customer management skills.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership capabilities.
- Financial and operational management experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience managing distributed and global teams.
- Exposure to Gaming/Gambling/sportsbook/Lottery applications is an added advantage but not mandatory
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile Certifications preferred.
- Experience in handling Digital Engineering, Cloud, IoT, Connected Services, Data & Analytics, or Enterprise Applications related projects/Programs
- Exposure to ITIL-based service delivery or managed services operations.
