Your mission:

An apprenticeship opportunity titled : « (Apprenticeship) - PDI » has just opened at Airbus India located in Bangalore. You will join the "Physical Design and Integration (PDI) " department in charge of System Installation and cabin design activities.

Ideally, this is a 12-month program and it should start in [July/2026] (date subject to flexibility).

Your main missions will consist of :

● Managing different activities of System installation work packages covering Cabin Design, Mechanical Systems and Electrical Systems and providing support to the others WP/group leaders if needed. 

● Network & liaise with a broad range of teams across Airframe, Systems and Cabin sub-domains including Industrialization, Standardization, Research & Environment Integration.

Your tutor will support you identify your professional objectives and develop your skills

This apprenticeship will allow you to develop the following skills:

● Mechanical System Installation (MSI)

● Electrical System Installation (ESI)

● Cabin Design and DMU Integration

● Configuration Management 

● Architecture studies & Automation  

Your Boarding Pass:

Eligibility Criteria:

• You are a Fresh Graduate (Technical Under Graduate or Post Graduate) in [Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial / Production or Aerospace Engineering].

• Zero Work Experience: This program is exclusively for candidates with no prior full-time professional work experience. (Internships and academic projects are excluded from this and are welcome).

• Commitment: Ability to commit to the full 12-month duration of the apprenticeship.

You possess the following competences:

- Technical skills :

• Knowledge on aircraft industrialization principles

• Knowledge on Aircraft build process

• Knowledge on Systems Installation and various systems. e.g.Electrical, Mechanical etc.

• Knowledge in production management & understanding of manufacturing processes

• Data analytics skills will be an added advantage

• Basic of scripting in VB, Python will be an added value

• Exposure to modeling tools is preferred

• Exposure to Catia V5 tools and DMU knowledge will be an added advantage
  

- Soft Skills :

• Very good communication and presentation skills 

• Ability to demonstrate effectiveness in holding conversations with customers

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities or requirements.

• Demonstrate agility and autonomy in a transnational environment.

• Demonstrate ability to work as a team in a highly collaborative environment.

• Ability to coordinate the efforts of a large team of diverse specialists & experts.

• Ability to lead in an environment of constant change involving multiple internal processes.

- Language skills :

- English : intermediate / advanced / fluent
