Assistant Manager-KDNI
Roles and Responsibilities
Principal Accountabilities
- Work closely with the BU Transformation team, BU teams, Process Owners to drive OpEx program
- Build continuous improvement culture in the BU deploying Lean practices to create an environment of best practice sharing, innovation, Kaizen etc.
- Support to create capability within KDN on Lean transformation to begin with and establish operational excellence as a core competency in our teams
Principal Duties/Responsibilities
- Delivery tangible outcomes through OpEx projects and initiatives and help deliver 8 to 10 X ROI on the budget
- Collaborate with other BU’s / Peer experts /Global teams to maximize benefit realization
- Deliver OpEx projects within the divisional portfolio on time, to scope and within budget
- Identify opportunities for OpEx to be implemented to derive material benefit for KDN
- Ensure the KGN OpEx methodology, tools, technologies and thinking is embedded in this program and in BU Operations
- Create and deliver a communications plan which builds a deep and wide understanding of OpEx across the division
- Identify and grow potential OpEx Internal resource and evangelists. Increase the Pool of quality improvement Catalysts across KDN
- Operate as an exemplar to constructively challenge the organization to constantly improve operational capability and performance
- Coach teams within the division on the application of OpEx. Target is to train more than 20% of the work force on OpEx Initiatives in Year 1, 50% in Yr 2 & more than 80% in Yr 3
- Support global / end client transformation engagements, as and when required
- Build relationship with stakeholders of respective KDN and global teams
Mandatory Skills
- 6-10 years of overall experience of which at least 4 years of experience in driving independent Black belt six sigma projects and lean transformation projects
- Must have done Quality / Operational Excellence roles in large capacity
- Should have excellent knowledge and experience of running Lean projects
- Should have Led / Mentored at least 3 Black Belt and 10 Green Belt projects
- Experience of conducting Lean Six Sigma trainings would be preferred
- Preferably to have driven diverse technology enabled solution
Experience of building value stream maps and ability to use Lean tools / methodology

Education background
Required:
- Graduate / Engineering background (REC/NIT/IIT etc.) or MBA from a reputed college
- Certified / Trained Six Sigma Black Belt from Reputed Organizations such as ASQ
Desirable:
- PMP certified / PRINCE2 Practitioner
- Other qualifications relating to data analytics/ Intelligent automation
