Roles & responsibilities 

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure as  a Senior Solution Architect.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain architectural design documents, guidance, standards, and best practices for cloud solutions.
• Lead the migration of Azure IaaS applications to Azure PaaS and Azure SaaS
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams and other architects.
• Ensure compliance with KPMG security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services, features, and industry trends.

Mandatory  technical & functional skills

• Practical understanding of modeling techniques (BPMN, Microsoft Azure, ArchiMate, etc.)
• Excellent Microsoft Office (especially Visio and PowerPoint) and communications skills.
• Able to demonstrate innovative design skills for an enterprise grade IT Solution in the Azure Cloud using both IaaS and PaaS services
• Deep understanding of architecting container solutions using Kubernetes and AKS in the Cloud
• Knowledge of AI technologies and their applications including ML, Generative AI, LLMs, CoPilot, etc.
• Deep understanding of IT architecture (including Business and Data architectures) and IT Standards
• Experienced with enterprise-grade software development in an Azure DevOps environment (including CI/CD)

Educational qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Solution Architect with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Generative AI including OpenAI and Microsoft CoPilot 
• Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, Entra ID, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirableWork experience.  9+ Years of Experience
