The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

The Associate Specialist - FP&A Planning Solutions supports financial planning and analysis processes by developing, maintaining, and enhancing planning & reporting solutions. This role is responsible for creating executive-level reports for CXO stakeholders, building and supporting Longview input templates and reports, and managing currency adjustment factors within Longview. The associate specialist also conducts audits of currency adjustment exposures and foreign exchange (FX) impacts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and effective financial decision-making. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain CXO reports that provide clear, accurate, and actionable financial insights to executive leadership.
  • Design, build, support, and troubleshoot Longview input templates, reports, and related financial data outputs used in planning, forecasting, and analysis processes.
  • Manage Longview currency adjustment factors and conduct reviews of currency adjustment exposures and foreign exchange impacts to ensure reporting accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with FP&A, finance, business stakeholders, and internal AI leaders to translate business needs into effective reporting solutions, productivity improvements, and project execution.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles by delivering timely system updates, resolving user issues, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and serving as backup for the Longview System Administrator.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • MBA in Finance or a professional qualification such as CMA or CA.
  • Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant FP&A work experience.
  • Proficiency in Longview, Hyperion/HFM, Power BI, and MS Office Suite and familiarity with financial modeling and data analysis tools.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Preferred experience with Snowflake, Alteryx, and Power BI, along with exposure to supporting CXO-level reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and contribute to continuous learning and team success.

Work Location: Hebbal, Bangalore (Karnataka), Hybrid Mode
