Current Position: Automation Engineer

What you will do:

We are seeking an Automation Engineer with strong experience in .NET and Python, with strong DevOps expertise. You will design and implement automation frameworks, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and drive quality engineering practices across enterprise applications. 

Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop automation frameworks using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) and Python for web, API, and backend systems 
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, integrating with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. 
• Automate testing, deployments, and monitoring for scalable, reliable applications. 
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end automation solutions. 
• Implement cloud-native automation (Azure/AWS/GCP) including containers, serverless functions, and infrastructure-as-code. 
• Troubleshoot automation issues, optimize performance, and ensure system reliability. 
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in automation and DevOps 
• Develop and integrate automated test suites for web, mobile, and backend services, ensuring coverage across functional, regression, and performance scenarios. 
• Write reusable, maintainable, and well‑documented code following SOLID principles, design patterns, and best practices in both Python and C#. 
• Mentor junior automation engineers, conduct code reviews, and guide the team toward better test architecture and maintainability. 
• Integrate test reporting, dashboards, and monitoring tools (e.g., Allure, ExtentReports, Grafana) to make test results visible and actionable. 

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with strong focus on automation. 
• Expertise in .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework) and Python scripting. 
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). 
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). 
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and test automation frameworks. 
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and unit testing. 
• Very good experience in automation tools/ frameworks (Selenium WebDriver / Playwright / Cypress ) /(NUnit / MSTest / xUnit) 
• Experience with message brokers (Mosquitto, HiveMQ, EMQX, etc.) and testing MQTT protocol 
• REST API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured, Git version control, CI/CD concepts 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in Agile/Scrum environments. 
• Test frameworks design patterns (Page Object Model, BDD, etc.)  
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database validation 

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible). 
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). 
• Knowledge of security best practices in automation pipelines. 
• Background in leading automation initiatives or small teams. 
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)  
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) 
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and service‑oriented test design.
