Job Description: Azure Infra & Security architect

We are searching for a skilled and innovative Azure Architect with extensive security expertise to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable, and high-performing Azure solutions. Your deep understanding of Azure services and strong security knowledge will be critical in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end architecture design of Azure solutions, considering both infrastructure and security aspects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive Azure designs.
• Design and implement secure Azure architectures, incorporating best practices for identity and access management, network security, encryption, and compliance.
• Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning to identify and address potential risks.
• Create and maintain Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, leveraging infrastructure as code (IaC) principles to ensure consistency and automation.
• Define and implement security policies, access controls, and authentication mechanisms to protect Azure resources and sensitive data.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for Azure environments, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and operations teams, promoting secure coding practices and adherence to security standards.
• Evaluate emerging Azure technologies and security tools, recommending their integration to enhance our cloud solutions.
• Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to detect and respond to security incidents and performance issues.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure Azure solutions meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Participate in security incident response and resolution, working with cross-functional teams to mitigate and prevent security breaches.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Azure Architect with a strong focus on security design and implementation.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services, architecture, and security best practices.
• Strong expertise in Azure security tools and services, including Azure Security Center, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Policy.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and concepts, such as Azure DevOps, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Comprehensive understanding of cloud security principles, including network security, identity and access management, encryption, and compliance.
• Experience conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and address complex security challenges.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide technical teams.
• Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering secure and high-quality solutions.
