Function: Global Source-to-Pay (S2P), Supplier Management / Accounts Payable / Finance
Location: Bangalore
Role Summary:
The Business Analyst, Source to Pay is responsible for supporting accounts payable, and procurement processes, contributing to large-scale digital transformation programs such as GEP Quantum Implementation.
The role requires a high level of ownership, strong collaboration with partners, and the ability to deliver consistent quality in transformation programs.
The ideal candidate will be a strong, great teammate with a proactive approach. They should handle critical business requirements, build processes, and gather requirements flexibly while improving efficiency and encouraging continuous improvement.
Key Skill Requirements:
- Experience with integrations involving Ariba, S/4HANA, and GEP, including change criteria and associated requirements.
- Practical knowledge of processing vendor invoices (PO and non-PO) in S/4HANA, GEP, and Ariba across global regions, including India, EMEA, the US, and JAPAC.
- Work with functional teams, existing system owners, coordinate with IT teams and technical architects to ensure delivery timelines are clearly understood.
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple ad hoc requests and provide issue resolution independently.
- Map workflows, identify gaps and inefficiencies in existing processes, design AS-IS and TO-BE processes, analyse new business requirements, and propose the most suitable solutions.
- Manage and oversee projects at the organizational level by supporting existing business system owners in accounts payable, supplier management, and procurement, and provide reports on project status and progress.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience analysing data using Excel or other reporting tools.
- Establish and maintain a project plan in conjunction with the existing business system owners to track and monitor delivery progress for agreed changes.
- Ability to understand business requirements from process walkthrough meetings and requirement documents or user stories, as needed for the project.
- Perform SIT, UAT, PAT, and data validation and migration activities at regular intervals by coordinating with business teams and support post-go-live stabilization activities.
- Design automation processes based on the operational needs of the organization.
- Manage projects using project management tools and technologies such as Jira, Workfront, MS Planner, or similar platforms.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering, business, finance, or a related field is required. Candidates should have 6–8 years of experience in the global Accounts Payable function. Experience in a shared services centre is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with, or exposure to, S2P tools such as GEP Quantum and Ariba, as well as ERP platforms such as S/4HANA.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with internal and external collaborators.
- Advanced knowledge of office tools, especially MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, and basic analysis).
- Ownership of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting in line with company policies and procedures.
