Roles & responsibilities

The Power Point Specialist will be responsible for the strategic design and layout of editorial materials primarily in PowerPoint and Word and utilizing the Adobe software suite to augment design capabilities, all within the KPMG brand. They will be producing creative, comprehensive layout and design for proposals, client materials, and marketing collateral. The position is at the center of a fast-paced environment and requires the ability to think strategically and respond quickly to changing priorities.

This role will focus on conceptualization, prototyping and production of design deliverables based on the company’s global brand. Project management, communication and prioritization skills are key.

Apply an advanced understanding of design principles and layout design to establish effective page composition, clear type hierarchies, text flow, and custom-built graphics and imagery for design deliverablesWork creatively and independently within the brand to create, format and edit various types of client documents, including reports, presentations and manuals, ensuring they meet brand standards.Apply client-focused design, researching the client to supplement designs with imagery and design choices to appeal to the client while maintaining brand standardsIdeate design concepts for stakeholders, offering multiple design solutions as neededReview documents for ineffective design, formatting errors and incorrect branding to elevate the deliverable quality and drive consistency.Organize and maintain a central repository for documents, ensuring version control and easy access for team members.Enter and update data in spreadsheets, databases and other documents accurately and efficiently.Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive corporate information and maintain confidentiality.Be proficient in document management software, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation tools, such as Microsoft Office, the Adobe Creative Suite or specialized industry software.Ensure documents adhere to regulatory and compliance standards relevant to the industry and organization.Address and resolve document-related issues, such as formatting problems or software glitches.Stay updated on industry best practices and tools to enhance document creation and management processes.Prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and manage multiple documents simultaneously.Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand document requirements and ensure clarity.

This role is for you if you have  the below

Years of experience

Minimum 3–5 years of design experience in conceptualization, solution development, campaign execution and client relationship management.

Educational qualifications

University degree or equivalent in graphic design or related field.

Technical skills

Expert in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ideal to have knowledge in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.A strong portfolio showcasing a range of complex visualizations and the ability to explain the thought process behind them.Possess solid creative, social and web knowledge, consistently bringing innovative solutions and delivering client service excellence.Attention to detail, accuracy and a keen eye for typography, spacing and layout.Excellent production skills, proper file setup and style sheet builds.Strong consultative skills to work with internal creative team or our clients to define direction and align with priorities.An aptitude for initiative and innovation.Proactively aware of design trends and cultural design aesthetics in our geography.
