We are looking for an experienced Word and PPT designer to support the Pursuits team, this role will be an individual contributor to work for a team. In this role, the graphic designer will be producing creative, comprehensive layout and design for marketing collateral, proposals and client deliverables. The position is at the center of a fast-paced environment and requires the ability to think strategically and respond quickly to changing priorities.
This role will focus on conceptualization, prototyping and production of design deliverables based on the company’s global brand. Project management, communication and prioritization skills are key.
•Produce high-quality graphic designs, illustrations and layouts for various media, such as print, digital and social media.•Be proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.•Collaborate with team members on design projects and ensure alignment with client requirements and brand guidelines.•Contribute creative ideas and concepts to brainstorming sessions and design briefs.•Communicate with clients to understand their design needs and incorporate feedback into design revisions.•Maintain open and clear communication with fellow designers, sharing progress and ideas to ensure project cohesion.•Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project timelines.•Ensure that designs meet quality standards, are error-free, and are ready for client presentation or publication.•Organize and maintain design files, assets, and resources for easy accessibility by team members.•Stay updated on current design trends and technologies to bring fresh perspectives to projects.•Collaborate with other team members to solve design-related challenges and overcome creative obstacles.•Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss design concepts and deliverables.•Actively incorporate feedback from team members and clients to refine and improve designs.•Optimize design processes and workflows to enhance productivity and meet project deadlines.•Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering their professional growth.•Be flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements and priorities.•Ensure that designs maintain brand consistency and adhere to established brand guidelines.•Properly name and organize files, making it easy for team members to locate and work with assets.•Implement version control practices to avoid confusion and streamline collaboration.Invest in ongoing learning and skill development to stay relevant in the ever-evolving field of graphic design.
Educational qualifications
•University degree or equivalent in graphic design or related field.Work experience
•3-5 years’ experience working on professional graphics deliverables.Technical skills
•Expertise in Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).•Proficient in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.•Possess solid creative, social and web knowledge, consistently bringing innovative solutions and delivering client service excellence.•A strong portfolio showcasing a range of complex visualizations and the ability to explain the thought process behind them.•Excellent production skills, proper file setup and style sheet builds.Soft skill requirements
