We are currently seeking a Business Consulting - Data Analyst to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

   

   

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. – mandatory

5+ years of experience in data analysis, data quality, or related roles. – mandatory

Excellent Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis. – mandatory

Should have Value Engineering/Component Engineering or Product Engineering Domain Knowledge– mandatory

Tools Exposure: SAP, Teamcenter/PLM tools, Snowflake, Excel, SQL & Python – Mandatory

Knowledge with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio). – Good to Have

Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data profiling. - Good to Have

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

 

Expected Activities

Data Analysis

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

Develop dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders.

Support business units with ad-hoc data requests and deep-dive analyses.

Use statistical techniques to interpret data and validate hypotheses.

 

 

Coverage Analysis

Assess data coverage across systems and platforms to ensure completeness.

Identify missing or underrepresented data segments and propose remediation strategies.

Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data ingestion pipelines.

Monitor data availability and consistency across regions, products, or business units.

 

Data Quality

Define and implement data quality metrics and KPIs.

Perform regular audits to detect and resolve data quality issues.

Work with data stewards and owners to enforce data governance policies.

Document data lineage, transformations, and quality checks.
