We are opening an opportunity for a dual-function role: Business Release Manager & Operations Support (BRM & BOS) to support our new cross-departmental tool. This role acts as the critical bridge between the technical development team and our business end-users.

You will ensure that new releases are robust, thoroughly tested, and smoothly adopted (BRM), while also ensuring the day-to-day functional health of the tool by resolving incidents, analyzing system behavior, and providing reactive support to end users and proactive governance (BOS).

Main Responsibilities

Part 1: Business Release Management (BRM)

1. Testing, Verification & Validation

  • Testing: Write, execute, and oversee manual Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) cases to validate new features and prevent regressions.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure automated testing (unit, integration, end to end testing and validation) is properly aligned with business objectives.

  • Verification & Validation: Conduct final functional sign-offs, present the Business readiness assessment (Go/No-go) from all business stakeholders before pushing releases to the live environment, ensuring the delivery matches the defined functional specifications.

2. User Enablement & Documentation

  • User Documentation: Draft, update, and maintain comprehensive end-user handbooks, release notes, and troubleshooting manuals.

  • Awareness & Training: Organize and conduct awareness sessions, training workshops, and onboarding programs to drive high user adoption and ensure stakeholders are prepared for new releases.

Part 2: Business Operations Support (BOS)

3. Reactive Incident Support

  • Basic Support: Handle standard incidents efficiently—resolving issues without deviating from approved Airbus processes, methods, or standards (often utilizing existing PMT, authorized documentation, or historical incident logs).

  • Advanced Support: Manage complex incidents that cannot be solved by simple reference to the Knowledge Database. This requires deep interpretation, adaptation of processes, and close collaboration with the development team to unblock users.

4. Proactive Support & Governance

  • Provide proactive support through the governance of key performance indicators (KPIs) and data models.

  • Monitor usage metrics, identify recurring bottlenecks, and propose continuous improvements for the tool's ecosystem.

Profile & Skills

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to switch between high-level release strategies and deep-dive incident resolution.

  • Experience in IT service management, application support, or release management.

  • High digital literacy: comfortable navigating APIs, databases, and architectural diagrams without needing to engineer them from scratch.

  • Excellent communication skills to train end-users and write clear documentation.

  • Organized, patient, and capable of handling high-pressure support situations while maintaining adherence to Airbus standards.
