What you’ll do:

Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.

Contributions include applying developed subject matter expertise to solve common and sometimes complex technical problems and recommending alternatives where necessary. Might act as project lead and provide assistance to lower level professionals. Exercises independent judgment and consults with others to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a software engineer – SASE to develop highly secure SD-WAN/SASE products for on-prem and cloud environments. The candidate will analyze customer requirements, propose novel solutions to integrate SASE and SD-WAN technologies, and architect and implement the solution.

Ability to work with existing large codebase is essential. Special preference will be given to candidates with strong background in Security, Software Architecture and Performance Engineering.

How you’ll make your mark:

Design, and Develop data path subsystems/features in the following areas:

• SASE – SDWAN, ZTNA, Firewall
• Web Filtering
• Proxy Applications (SSL, TCP, DNS)
• Application Visibility and Control
• High Availability Framework
• Access Control List – User and Role based policies for applications and internet access

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 5-8 years of development experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent coding skills in C/C++ on Linux platforms.
• Strong Software Engineering background
• Very good understanding of TCP/IP and other networking protocols
• Development experience in v4/v6 socket applications
• Development experience in multi-threaded applications on multi-core platforms.
• Ability to work with existing large code base and re-architect critical data path software modules.
• Complete ownership, problem-solving skills and tremendous self-drive
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
