You will operate at the intersection of on-ground execution and intelligent retail — using real-time data, AI-assisted selling tools, and technology-driven insights to drive decisions that most retail leaders still make on instinct. 🎯 Core Mandate
Business Performance & P&L Ownership Own topline revenue, profitability, and unit economics across the region — with full accountability for outcomes. Drive same-store growth through conversion rate improvement, ticket size expansion, and repeat customer behaviour. Use store-level performance data and AI-driven insights to identify high-potential micro-markets and unlock new growth pockets ahead of competition.
AI-First Sales Strategy & Execution Define and execute a sharp, data-informed offline sales strategy — not just on gut feel, but grounded in real-time performance signals. Leverage Lenskart's technology stack including AI-assisted selling tools, demand forecasting at the store level, and live dashboards to drive precision execution across every store in your circle. Build a culture of accountability where numbers are owned, tracked, and acted upon daily.
Team Leadership & Capability Building Build and lead a high-performing bench of Area Managers and store teams. Create a culture where goals are clear, ownership is celebrated, and performance is rewarded. Invest in capability development across sales, customer experience, and tech-enabled operations — turning your circle into a talent factory for Lenskart's next generation of leaders.
Customer Experience & NPS Own end-to-end in-store experience and NPS for the region. Champion a customer-first operating model through regular store immersion, structured feedback loops, and rapid response to experience gaps. Ensure every touchpoint — from the moment a customer walks in to the moment they leave — reflects Lenskart's promise of premium, accessible, tech-enabled eyecare.
Operational Excellence & Intelligent Efficiency Maximize store productivity through smart staffing, AI-supported planning, and continuous operational improvement. Drive inventory discipline, cost efficiency, and process rigor — not through micromanagement, but through systems thinking and data-led decisions. Identify gaps fast and close them faster.
Market Intelligence & Expansion Stay deeply embedded in local markets, competition, and consumer behaviour. Translate on-ground intelligence into expansion strategies — identifying where to grow next, how to win faster, and what Lenskart's customers in the North East need before they know it themselves.
Brand Custodianship & Tech-Led Retail Be the guardian of Lenskart's brand in the region — premium, accessible, and unmistakably differentiated. Ensure every store delivers a seamless blend of retail and technology: from AI-assisted dispensing and omnichannel journeys to data-driven clienteling. Champion an insight-led, tech-first operating culture across every team you lead.

📋 What You Bring
8–14 years of experience in retail, QSR, or consumer businesses — with a demonstrated track record of managing multi-store, multi-city operations
Proven P&L ownership with consistent, measurable growth delivery
Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments where ambiguity is the norm
Strong commercial instincts combined with comfort using data and digital tools to drive decisions
A reputation as a talent builder — someone who grows teams and creates future leaders
