The selected candidate

• Provides technical leadership in the design, development, and deployment of AIsolutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry bestpractices
• Architects and oversees the design of scalable AI application pipelines, ensuringrobust, efficient, and secure integration of AI models into productionenvironments
• Leads cross-functional teams of AI engineers, developers, and productmanagers, driving project timelines, resource allocation, and deliveringimpactful AI-driven products and solutions
• Champions innovation by staying ahead of the latest advancements in AI,guiding the strategic direction of AI initiatives, and mentoring team members toelevate the organization's AI engineering capabilities

Your key responsibilities include

• Managing the end-to-end delivery of AI-powered solutions using modern AIframeworks, agentic patterns, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to buildproduction-grade cognitive services
• Designing and implementing production-ready AI architectures including APIdesign, orchestration layers, and integration with enterprise systems
• Ensuring AI solution quality and reliability through evaluation frameworks,guardrails, hallucination mitigation strategies, and observability practices(tracing, logging, monitoring)
• Collaborating with relevant business areas to identify new projects andopportunities, understanding their requirements, setting success criteria andensuring delivery
• Leading medium sized projects while contributing as a hands-on individualcontributor, and training / mentoring junior team members

Skills and attributes for success

• 12+ years of overall experience in software engineering / IT, with hands-onexperience in building and deploying AI applications in production environments
• Strong experience in designing and implementing RAG architectures, agentic AIframeworks, and vector database solutions
• Experience with model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and model evaluation atproduction scale
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deploying and scaling AIsolutions, including serverless architectures and managed AI services
• Strong programming skills in Python with experience in developing and deployingproduction-grade APIs and web applications
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines for AIsystems
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and modern software developmentworkflows
• Familiarity with Hugging Face ecosystem and open-source AI tooling
• Awareness of Responsible AI principles, AI governance, and emerging AIcompliance requirements
• Knowledge of AI security practices including data privacy, model accesscontrols, and secure API design

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with classical ML/NLP fundamentals (supervised/unsupervisedlearning, statistical modeling)
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Experience with cost optimization strategies for AI inference at scale

Non-Technical Skills:

• Proven track record of leading and collaborating on strategic initiatives for atleast the last 2-3 years
• Strong team and business communication skills -- can walk through anapproach with technical clients or explain tricky concepts to non-technicalpeople
• Ability to collaborate with people at all levels and with multi-office or regionalnteams
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently.
• Strategic consulting experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills

Education

• Bachelor/Master/PG/Ph.D in Computer Science, Engineering, ArtificialIntelligence, Information Technology, or related fields preferred
