Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components or applications. The role requires working closely with project teams to build scalable and efficient software using contemporary development frameworks and methodologies. Throughout the day, the engineer collaborates with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translates them into functional software components, ensuring that the solutions meet performance and quality standards while adapting to evolving project needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
- Maintain and improve existing software components to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Document technical specifications and development processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in their development tasks.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP FIORI/Gateway architecture and SAP ABAP Development for HANA
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable software solutions using modern frameworks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within custom software environments.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and best practices for enterprise applications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP FIORI/Gateway architecture.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
