Project Role : Custom Software EngineerProject Role Description : Implement the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. Assist in the design of software configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements.

Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves executing the configuration management plan under the guidance of the Configuration Lead. The role includes collaborating with team members to design software configurations and customizations that align with business process designs and application needs. This position requires careful attention to detail and coordination to ensure that software solutions effectively support organizational objectives and operational workflows.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of software configurations with business requirements.
- Document configuration changes and maintain accurate records to support traceability and compliance.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with technical challenges.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing execution systems and their integration within production environments.
- Experience with software configuration management and customization techniques.
- Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into technical software solutions.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting and resolving software configuration issues.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
