Job Description

The role is to develop and maintain databases across multiple projects sharing a common business domain. Database development cycles include data modelling, physical schemas, database programming, ETL development, Data warehouse and BI development.

Accountabilities:

1. Using data modelling techniques, design and deploy database schemas.
2. Development and maintenance of the database stored procedures, views and functions for hosted web applications or batch processing.
3. Development and maintenance of ETL platform/applications
4. Diagnose and resolve database access and performance issues with excellent experience in query optimisation and indexing.
5. Ensure all database systems meet business and performance requirements. Identify inefficiencies in current databases and investigate solutions
6. Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for database modifications.
7. Produce ad-hoc queries and develop reports to support business needs
8. Creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

Working and Skill Requirements: Overall 6 8 Yrs Exp

1. In-depth experience in conceptual, logical and data physical modelling with normalization techniques.
2. 4 6 years of experience in database development with MS SQL Server
3. 3 4 years of experience in ELT development using SSIS
4. In-depth experience in writing complex stored procedures.
5. Command on writing dynamic SQLs
6. Excellent knowledge of writing complex queries
7. Hands-on query optimization and enhancements
8. Command on writing DML codes
9. Experience in constructing ETL packages, including data loads, transformations, file processing and notification tasks using SSIS
10. Knowledge of Java programming is a plus

· Education:

• BE, Btech in IT.

• Master is a plus

Experience:

• Have 6 -8 years of previous work experience in the areas mentioned above
