Deputy Manager - CAE Durability
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
• Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) of vehicle structures to optimize performance and manufacturability.
• Build FE assemblies, including complex connections like spot and seam welds.
• Perform linear and nonlinear static analyses to evaluate component strength under applied loads and boundary conditions.
• Carry out modal, frequency response, and transient analyses for various operating scenarios.
• Estimate fatigue life, including weld durability, to support design improvements.
• Postprocess results, prepare reports, and present findings to cross-functional teams.
• Recommend design modifications to meet criteria while considering manufacturing and packaging constraints.
