Description & Requirements

Infor is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Infor Hospitality – Restaurant team. This critical role will enable the efficient deployment, operation, and monitoring of our cloud-native restaurant solutions—including POS, mobile ordering, and Kitchen Display Systems (KDS)—on AWS and other platforms. The DevOps Engineer will drive automation, infrastructure reliability, and CI/CD excellence, partnering with development, QA, and business leaders to achieve operational agility and resilience.

You will help build scalable environments, optimize deployment processes, enhance system observability, and foster a culture of DevOps best practices for the restaurant technology ecosystem.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines supporting automated deployments, testing, and rollbacks
• Partnering with developers and QA to ensure robust environments, efficient release management, and smooth platform operations
• Managing monitoring, logging, and alerting for distributed production environments (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus)
• Implementing best practices for configuration management, security hardening, and incident response
• Troubleshooting deployment and environment issues across restaurant solutions
• Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure operational readiness, high availability, and performance
• Driving innovation in automation, observability, and cloud-native operations

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Rich background of experience DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or cloud platform operations
• Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda, S3), infrastructure-as-code, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure using Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Pulumi)
• Track record with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and SCM (Git)
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
• Programming proficiency (C#, Java or similar languages)
• Scripting proficiency (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Deep understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems operations
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Experience supporting .NET/C# application environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with restaurant systems (POS, KDS, mobile platforms)
• Exposure to SQL database administration (Microsoft SQL Server or similar)
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Experience integrating third-party services via APIs
• Passion for DevOps best practices, continuous improvement, and automated operations
