Job Description – Senior Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer to design, develop, implement, and support high-quality technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and experience working in agile environments. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to the successful delivery of projects while ensuring adherence to quality, security, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities
•    Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and reliable software solutions.
•    Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
•    Participate in architecture discussions and technology evaluations.
•    Develop and review code to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
•    Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
•    Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and stakeholders.
•    Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
•    Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
•    Contribute to CI/CD implementation and DevOps practices.
•    Support production deployments and provide post-release support.
•    Prepare technical documentation, design documents, and knowledge-sharing materials.
•    Continuously improve engineering processes, tools, and methodologies.

Required Qualifications
•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
•    5–8 years of relevant industry experience.
•    Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, or similar 
technologies.
•    Experience with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
•    Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
•    Experience with source control tools such as Git.
•    Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
•    Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
