Summary of Position:

As a Junior EDI Analyst, you will assist in developing, configuring, integrating, and testing solutions based on functional and technical specifications to meet quality and performance requirements. This role provides exposure to EDI technologies, software development practices, and enterprise integration processes, with structured training and mentorship.

NOTE: We are looking only for Bangalore based candidates (Freshers).

Key Responsibilities:

• Support EDI Integration Activities:

  • Assist in building and configuring EDI solutions for data exchange between internal systems and external trading partners.

  • Participate in mapping and translation of EDI documents (e.g., purchase orders, invoices).

• Collaborate Across Teams:

  • Work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors under guidance.

• Testing & Documentation:

  • Contribute to unit testing and validation of EDI transactions.

  • Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and workflows.

• Compliance & Standards:

  • Learn and adhere to organizational standards and best practices for integration and security.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with programming languages (Java, Python, C++, or similar).

  • Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.

  • Awareness of Agile methodology, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and testing lifecycle.

  • Knowledge of XML, CSV, and flat file formats is a plus.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.

• Nice to Have:

  • Basic understanding of EDI concepts (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) – not mandatory.

  • Familiarity with integration tools like IBM Sterling or similar is an added advantage.

• Passionate, self-driven learner with an interest in enterprise integration technologies.

• Ability to analyze requirements and contribute to solution design under mentorship.

• Strong collaboration skills for working across multiple teams and stakeholders.
