About the Role

What will your day look like?

As a Software Engineer, you are expected to focus on:

• Analyse requirements from business, functional designers, and engineering leads
• Design, develop, and unit test solutions across OFSAA and OBIEE platforms
• Build and manage ETL pipelines, batch scheduling (Control-M), and data workflows
• Develop reporting and support OBIEE server administration activitiesManage inbound/outbound data integrations and file processing frameworks
• Collaborate with squads for integration testing and dependency management
• Support business users during UAT and ensure successful delivery outcomes
• Prepare technical design, build, and deployment documentationPerform data analysis, reconciliation, and root cause investigations
• Contribute to continuous planning, delivery cycles, and process improvements

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:\

• 4+ years of experience in IT with strong engineering fundamentals
• Advanced knowledge of relational data models and Oracle RDBMS
• Strong PL/SQL development and programming skills (3GL or higher)
• Hands-on experience with ETL development and data processing frameworks
• Expertise in Control-M batch scheduling and Linux shell scripting
• Experience with version control tools such as GitHub
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and business stakeholders
• Experience in OFSAA and/or OBIEE development
• Understanding of continuous delivery, BI reporting, and ITIL processesStrong analytical skills including data reconciliation and root cause analysis
