About the Role
Role Location: Acacia, Bangalore
Role Type: Permanent, 4.4
As an Engineer in Treasury Technology, you will design, build, test, and deploy data and reporting solutions across Group OFSAA and OBIEE platforms. The role focuses on enabling Group Treasury by delivering high-quality, scalable, and efficient technology solutions across a complex, integrated ecosystem.
Role Scope
- Part of Core Finance (Treasury) Tech within Enterprise Finance & Data domain
- Supports critical treasury systems including OFSAA, OBIEE, and SaaS products
- Works within cross-functional squads to deliver releases and enhancements
- Manages end-to-end engineering activities from requirements to deployment
- Collaborates across upstream and downstream integration landscapes
What will your day look like?
As a Software Engineer, you are expected to focus on:
- Analyse requirements from business, functional designers, and engineering leads
- Design, develop, and unit test solutions across OFSAA and OBIEE platforms
- Build and manage ETL pipelines, batch scheduling (Control-M), and data workflows
- Develop reporting and support OBIEE server administration activitiesManage inbound/outbound data integrations and file processing frameworks
- Collaborate with squads for integration testing and dependency management
- Support business users during UAT and ensure successful delivery outcomes
- Prepare technical design, build, and deployment documentationPerform data analysis, reconciliation, and root cause investigations
- Contribute to continuous planning, delivery cycles, and process improvements
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:\
- 4+ years of experience in IT with strong engineering fundamentals
- Advanced knowledge of relational data models and Oracle RDBMS
- Strong PL/SQL development and programming skills (3GL or higher)
- Hands-on experience with ETL development and data processing frameworks
- Expertise in Control-M batch scheduling and Linux shell scripting
- Experience with version control tools such as GitHub
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and business stakeholders
- Experience in OFSAA and/or OBIEE development
- Understanding of continuous delivery, BI reporting, and ITIL processesStrong analytical skills including data reconciliation and root cause analysis
