Role description:

• Good understanding and Knowledge on international codes like DMRB, AASHTO, and Euro codes along with various other International Codal Practices and Standards, Design Standards of Local County Councils
• Highway Design experience using Civil 3D and good expertise in 3D modelling for proposals and Detail design projects.
• Roadway Design for various stages of Design Build Projects – Detailed design of Roadway corridor, Detailed drawings, construction support-drawings, Design Reviews, Project Management, Design Management.
• Experience in MS Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint·

Role accountabilities:

• Responsible for end-to-end project design and delivery for Highway design related tasks. · Preparation / Finalization of various highway related drawings at various stages of projects. · Computation of quantities.
• Preparation of design reports.
• Ability to understand existing condition reports and surveys.
• Should have handled minimum of 3-4 Design projects-overseas preferably for UK in Infrastructure Business.
• Should have worked for UK Projects and must be conversant with DBRB specifications and standards.
• Software: Navisworks, Infraworks, Open Roads
• Excellent Soft Skills related to People Management (desirable)
• Strong mentoring Skills – Ability to build teams (desirable)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education - Graduation - B.Tech/B.E. – Civil or Post Graduation - MTech – Civil/Transportation. Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a Design Consulting Environment · Strong understanding of DMRB codes
• Software – Civil 3D and AutoCAD. MX, Infraworks and Navisworks would be added advantage. · Delivered at least one major project for the UK Lead region in an Assistant lead role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English), including technical report writing. Organized and proactive (self- starter).
• Knowledge of Programming (LISP, VBA, .NET, C, C++) is added advantage.
• Excellent Soft Skills related to People Management (desirable)
• Strong mentoring Skills – Ability to build teams (desirable)
