Job Description for Manager in Value Creation:

 

• • Deal & Value Creation Execution
    • Lead and manage ODD workstreams, including cost structures, margin drivers, and operational performance
    • Identify and quantify value creation levers (cost take-out, pricing, productivity, working capital)
    • Support synergy identification and tracking for M&A deals
    • Build and review standalone cost models, carve-out analyses, and business plans
  • Financial & Operational Analysis
    • Develop robust financial models (revenue, EBITDA, cost benchmarking, unit economics)
    • Conduct peer benchmarking and performance diagnostics
    • Translate data into actionable insights and value creation plans
    • Support development of 100-day plans and transformation roadmaps
  • Project & Stakeholder Management
    • Manage project execution including planning, tracking, and delivery timelines
    • Act as a key interface with onshore teams and clients
    • Work closely with Senior Managers/Directors on hypothesis development and storyline building
    • Review team outputs to ensure quality, insight, and client readiness
  • Team Leadership & Capability Building
    • Lead teams of Associates/Consultants, providing guidance and quality reviews
    • Support capability building in value creation toolkits and methodologies
    • Drive best practice sharing and development of reusable assets (playbooks, templates)

 

 

Key Requirements

 

• Qualification: CA / MBA (Finance) preferred
• Experience: ~5–8 years in Transaction Advisory, Consulting, or Corporate Strategy
• Strong experience in ODD, value creation, cost optimization, or business performance improvement
• Advanced skills in financial modelling, Excel, and data analysis
• Exposure to M&A lifecycle, carve-outs, or integration is a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
